Not only is Jackson Hole home to picturesque mountain views and a variety of outdoor recreation activities, but also to some of the best restaurants in the Mountain West! In the blog, we’ll cover our favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots in the Jackson Hole Valley, as well as some honorable mentions you can’t miss. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or a fine dining experience, Jackson Hole food offers something for everyone.
Jackson Restaurants
The town of Jackson hosts the most restaurants in the whole valley with everything from Italian, BBQ, American and more!
Breakfast
- Grab and Go: FXR located at the base of Snow King Mountain Resort is a ski town classic, serving made-to-go burritos and waffles. DOG is another option for the burrito-lover, walking distance from downtown.
- Sit Down: Cafe Genevieve, one block of the main square in Jackson, is a southern Cajun style joint, famous for their candied bacon. The Virginian, more a classic diner, near the historic Virginian Lodge. The Bunnery is another great option right in downtown Jackson.
- Local Favorite: Pearl Street Bagels boasts a variety of bagels, cream cheese, and more. Just don’t ask them to toast your bagel, because it is fresh out of the oven anyway!
Lunch
- Brewery: Snake River Brewing and Still West Brewing are the two main breweries in Jackson, providing craft beers, pub food, lively crowds, live music and more.
- Sports Bar: Cutty’s is a classic sports bar, great for watching your favorite team. If you don’t like the Philadelphia Eagles, we don’t recommend Cutty’s!
- Wine Bar: Bin 22 is a hidden lunch gem with a full wine shop up front and a delicious tapas bar in the back.
Dinner
- American: Located right next store to the famous Cowboy Bar, the Local Restaurant is one of our favorites! From fresh oysters to buffalo wellington, this is a must stop for dinner while visiting Jackson Hole.
- Italian: Glorietta Trattoria is one of the most popular Italian restaurants in downtown Jackson. Enjoy the classics, handcrafted cocktails and a romantic atmosphere before a night out on the town.
- Up-Scape:Snake River Grill is the hardest place you get into, but it is well worth it. For peak busy season, they recommend making a reservation several months in advance.
Teton Village Restaurants
Teton Village is home to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and is also on the way to Grand Teton National Park, making it a good spot for fueling up before your next adventure!
Breakfast
- Adventure Breakfast: Corbit’s Cabin in Teton Village has become famous for its waffles (including savory or sweet), while also getting a great view as you must ride one the resort’s major ski lifts to access the restaurant at the top of the mountain. Grab your waffle, coffee and take in those mountain views!
Lunch
- Ski Resort Classic: The Mangy Moose is one of the most classic Apre-ski scenes in the Jackson Hole Valley. Open year-round, this is the perfect spot to fill up in between ski runs or summer hikes.
Dinner
- Teton Thai: There is nothing better than authentic Thai cuisine and Teton Thai has it all! From Thai iced tea to pad Thai, this cozy little restaurant is the perfect place to mix it up while on vacation.
- The Handle Bar: Located in the Four Seasons Resort, the Handle Bar is another favorite Apre-ski spot, especially since it is located right next to the main gondola.
Wilson Restaurants
Historic Wilson, Wyoming is a quaint little town right at the base of Teton Pass and just a few minutes from the famous Snake River. Perfect for fueling up before or after a Snake River Scenic Float!
Breakfast
- Historic Diner: Nora’s Fish Creek Inn is an old log cabin that has been a staple in Wilson for years. It was recently purchased a few years ago by a local restaurant buyers group. This place is famous for its Huevos Rancheros and French Toast, but they now also serve lunch and dinner.
Lunch
- Lunch with the Raft Guides: Swing by Sidecar in Wilson and you might find your raft guide grabbing lunch before your next trip! Sidecar is known for their smoked meats and truffle fries.
Dinner
- Family Friendly: Calico is probably our favorite dinner option in the summer. From specialty cocktails to amazing pizza, there is something on the menu for everyone. They also have a beautiful deck and back yard with plenty of yard games and room for the kids to run around.
Honorable Mentions
- The Bird Restaurant is south of Jackson about 10 minutes, they are open for Breakfast only on Sundays, but it is worth it. Check out the views on their back deck!
- Every Saturday, one of our rafting guides, Steele, owns and operates a crepe cart at the farmers market in downtown Jackson. Stop by and say hi!
