Grand Teton National Park is located in the beautiful state of Wyoming and is home to some of the most breathtaking hikes in the United States. 1. Cascade Canyon: This scenic hike is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful alpine meadows and stunning vistas of Grand Teton National Park. The ridge is home to incredible wildlife, including moose, deer, elk, bighorn sheep, and many different species of birds. This trail is about 9 miles one way, but you can break it up into smaller pieces. The best time to hike Cascade Canyon is from late spring through early fall, as snow can linger late into the season. 

 

2. Paintbrush Divide: This fast-paced 6.5-mile trail will take you to the top of Paintbrush Divide for breathtaking views of the Teton Range. During your hike, you’ll pass stunning wildflower fields at Inspiration Point and Cascade Cliff. The best time to take this hike is from late June to early October. 

 

3. Jenny Lake Loop Trail: The popular Jenny Lake Loop Trail is an 8.5-mile loop that takes you around spectacular Jenny Lake. This moderately paced trail will take you through old-growth forests, lush meadows, and giant rock formations. You can also hike a part of the loop and catch the Jenny Lake Boat Ride back across the lake, making Jenny Lake one of the best day hikes in Grand Teton!

 

4. Death Canyon Shelf Trail: This 4-mile trail is perfect for experienced hikers wanting to challenge themselves with an intense hike. This rugged trail is filled with switchback trails and steep terrain, and the views from the top are unforgettable. Death Canyon Shelf Trail is best hiked from mid-June to late October. 

 

5. Taggart Lake Trail: This popular trail is 2.7 miles one way and perfect for those wanting to take in the scenic views of the Tetons. Taggart Lake Trail takes you through alpine meadows filled with wildflowers and past clear blue lakes. The best time to take this hike is late May to early November.
